More companies are popping up using the direct-selling method, and sales are up. One mom, a former nurse, saw such success that she now works the job full-time. NBC’s Erica Hill reports.
First, by working a home-based job you can maximize the tax code to pay less taxes and thus keep more of your money. That's a good one! Did you know that our tax code was setup to reward entrepreneurs and business owners over and above employees? That is a good thing to keep in mind.
Second, working a home-based job has lower, or sometimes free, start up costs. And even if there is a cost to get started it is hundreds (and even thousands) of dollars cheaper than the less attractive alternatives.
Third, in most home-based opportunities, you can choose what hours you work. This is a major plus when having to schedule child care.
Fourth, many of the best home based opportunities offer double compensation. This means that you not only can earn commissions on products or services that you offer, but in many opportunities you can earn residual income, which as every successful business person will tell you is the key to long term financial success (both during your work years and especially in your retirement years. You do realize that you have to retire one day, right?).
This is especially important for Mom's - you can grow your residual income quickly to the place where you truly get to choose when you work...or you don't. With an opportunity that offers residual opportunities you can take off for half-a-day, a whole day, several days, a week, a month, or longer and still get paid because of the X-Factor.
The latest reports show that more and more companies are utilizing direct-selling as part of their operation strategies. One, because of the money they save, and two, because of the exponential profits they make using this model.
Let me encourage you to take a look at the home-based, direct selling opportunities that are available, and are especially beneficial to Moms. If you have any questions, drop me a note.
